FAQ

Have a question? Here are some of the most common questions that our clients have. If you’re looking for information that isn’t listed here, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or bring it up at your pet’s next appointment. You may also send us an email by visiting our contact page.
How do you keep your prices so low?
We are a high volume clinic that have a system to allow us to be very efficient. We use a safe and effective protocol that helps us keep cost low. Due to the constant rise in supplies are prices will gradually change but we will always try out best to stay low cost!
Before surgery what do I need to do?
Please do not feed your pets after 6pm the night before surgery. Water can remain accessible. All cats must come in carriers.
Does my pet need a cone or pain meds?
We highly recommend pain medicine, as we are performing invasive surgery that will be uncomfortable to deal with without medication. We also highly recommend an ecollar (cone) to prevent your pet from licking, biting and contaminating the surgical site.
Why does my pet need a booster vaccine?
Each vaccine requires a certain amount of booster vaccines 3-4 weeks after the other to assist in the efficiency of the vaccine. The number of boosters is determined and recommended from the manufacturer and have been tested and proven.
Do the sutures need to be removed?
Most of our sutures have multiple layers of suture and will absorb on their own. You may not see them from the outside, that’s because the skin was closed from the inside. Some pets will have additional suture on the outside, if that is the case we will inform you and you will need to get the sutures removed from us or your veterinarian 14 days after surgery.
